We are delighted to reach an agreement with the Vietnam Association of Technical and Economics Colleges (ATEC) and Ed2Career to develop TVET programmes and provide certification to learners in Vietnam.
A Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) signing ceremony was held on March 21st, 2019 at the Ho Chi Minh City College of Economics (HCE). We are honoured to have the presence of British Consul General of Ho Chi Minh City Mr Ian Gibbons at the ceremony and witnessed the signing. During his speech, Mr Gibbons said, “I am very honoured to be present at the signing ceremony of cooperation between the ATEC, TQUK and Ed2Career, it is a testament to the cooperation between the British awarding body and ATEC’s colleges and vocational schools. Our aim is to share experiences and expertise from the UK rather than transferring an existing vocational education system. From there, countries can create and build their unique system of vocational skills. This is important because countries need a system to meet the needs of industry development orientation, human resources strategy, the level of economic development, and future prosperity.”
Established in 2008, ATEC has nearly 50 members of colleges, intermediate schools and technical colleges throughout Vietnam, representing them in policies discussion with the government and contributing high employment rate to the country’s rapid economic growth.

TQUK also signed an MOU with Vietnam College of Technology II (previously known as Ho Chi Minh Vocational College of Technology, HVCT) and Ed2Career to develop new training programmes and certificate their learners.
With an average enrollment nearly 5000 students per year, HVCT has become a leading national education institution, playing a pioneering role in the vocational education system, both nationally and regionally. International students come from nearby countries such as Laos, Cambodia, Thailand and Myanmar.
Coordinated by Vietnam Ministry of Labour, Invalids and Social Affairs (MoLISA) to be the country’s “Role Model College”, HVCT often develop and deliver new vocational training programmes that fit to new government policies, for instance, the wastewater management in recent city reform project.
